Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Schaumburg, Illinois. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This 1-mile project involves the continuation of a bike path along the north side of Golf Road between Roosevelt Boulevard and Meacham Road and also the continuation of a bike path along the east side of Meacham Road between American Lane and Higgins Road. The proposed improvement will be designed to meet the criteria of the AASHTO Guide for the Development of Bicycle Facilities, the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, as well as the standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Installation of 10-foot wide multi use path along Meacham Road from Higgins Road (IL72) to American Lane, and along Golf Road from Meacham Road to Roosevelt Boulevard. Approximate total length = 0.925 mile. Project is included Village of Schaumburg Fiscal Year 2025 - 2030. As of October 1, 2025, per owner, no General contractor selected yet since this project is scheduled on IDOT November 7th, 2025 letting. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
