Pre-Qualification for Bidders: Not Required The work consists of the following for the site located at 2350 Galway Drive, South San Francisco, CA: Selected Demolition Converting indicated walls to 2-hour rated partitions. Adding fire rated ceiling finish to existing undersides of joists. Constructing new walls per indicated wall type, finished as indicated for 6 new Sleeping Rooms and 3 new Bathrooms, 1 new Exercise Room and 1 Turnout Storage closet. Providing backing where required for Owner-supplied closets, shelving and hooks. Re-furbishing and upgrading existing front Sleeping Room and adjacent Bathroom. Re-furbishing and upgrading existing Public Toilet Room Install new flooring, wall and ceiling finishes where indicated. Installing new plumbing, electrical and mechanical fixtures and accessories where indicated. Installing new doors and windows as indicated. Installing new concrete stoop and ramp with accessories. Installing new signage, fire extinguishers and emergency egress provisions. Installing new accessible auto- opening devices at the main entrance door. Re-installing Pantry items removed for wall upgrade. Patching, painting, re-install/repair or replace all areas collaterally damaged by the work. A detailed scope of work is included on the Project Plans. The Contractor shall be responsible to furnish all labor, material, tools, equipment, incidentals and services necessary to complete all the work as specified and in accordance with the plans and specifications for the Fire Station 64 Remodel, Project No. Pf1805, Bid No. 2627 At the time of contract award, the successful Bidder must be legally entitled to perform contracts requiring a Class B Contractor's license. Any Bidder or contractor not so licensed shall be subject to all penalties imposed by law including, but not limited to, any appropriate disciplinary action by the Contractors' State License Board.
