HSPAC Lighting - existing project - With the expansion of the Henry S. Parker Athletic Complex, 3 fields remain at the facility that do not have field lights: fields 7, 7 1/2, and 8. The addition of lights on these fields would increase flexibility for both local play and tournament play that drives economic impact in the community. Recommended funding sources for new lighting are primarily the Tourism Reserve Fund and State Program Open Space. Additionally, field lights on fields 1, 2, and 4 have surpassed their useful life cycles and are not performing to current lighting standards due to old technology. It is recommended to dedicate Program Open Space funds in FY23 to retro-fit lights on these fields utilizing LED technology in order to meet modern safety standards. As of December 17, 2021, this project is currently in the FY 2022-2026 CIP . Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction Fy 2022. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2022. The owner has determined a prequalified list of general contractors. The last day for questions will be noon on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 Wicomico County is seeking proposals from qualified Vendors to contract for the installation of light fixtures, poles, and electrical infrastructure and added pathway poles and fixtures at Henry S. Parker Athletic Complex located at 711 Naylor Mill Road, Salisbury, MD 21801, in conformity with the requirements contained herein Proposal Documents. The Vendor agrees to have the Work completed within one-hundred fifty (150) of the Notice to Proceed date
