Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in San Antonio, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 2,500-square-foot fire / police facility.
The Competitive Sealed Proposal method of procurement requires multiple submittals of Proposal Sections as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. After receiving all parts of the Proposals, the Owner will evaluate and rank each Proposal submitted in relation to the published selection criteria. The Owner will select the Proposal that offers the best value to The District 2 Fire and Rescue based on the published selection criteria and on the ranking evaluation. Project Base Bid consists of the new construction of a 2,500 square foot fire station. Work includes site work, building slab, pre-engineered Morton wood building structure, wood stud interior partitions, windows and entry doors, gypsum board ceilings, flooring, painting, doors, hardware, millwork, fixed equipment HVAC, plumbing including a septic system, and electrical systems. All work will be awarded under a single prime contract. All questions must be submitted in writing to jbettiol@brwarch.com. Questions will be accepted up until 72 hours before bids are due.
