The segment is approximately from 500 feet west of the Route 304 intersection to approximately 1,000 feet east of Crossfield Avenue. The road resurfacing work will include removing approximately one and a half inches of the current surface, making repairs to the subsurface as necessary, resetting traffic signal loops as necessary and will then replace the removed asphalt. The project's scope also includes work to reach ADA compliance on sidewalk ramps as necessary. This project will restore this segment of Route 59 to good condition using cost effective pavement treatments. This project will increase the safety of the roadway and provide motorists with better, more comfortable driving conditions.
