Description: Base Bid Description: ADA exterior ramp, sidewalk improvements and remodel of visitor's restroom and shower room 1 & 2 in Unit 1; remodeling of showers and staff restroom / breakroom in Unit 2 for ADA compliance. Contract Time: 123 calendar days. Liquidated Damages: $590.00 per day. Prevailing Wages must be paid on this project. Important: See `Additional Description section below regarding security clearance requirements for all individuals desiring to attend the pre-bid meeting. Additonal Description: Every person planning to attend the pre-bid meeting must obtain a security clearance in order to enter prison property. All attendees must complete and submit the `Nevada Department of Corrections Security Clearance Form a minimum of 7 days prior to the pre-bid meeting date. See Supplemental Instructions to Bidders for details on obtaining a security clearance Project no: 18065 The estimated construction cost for the base bid of this project is: $490,000.00 As of November 5, 2021, no award has been made yet. The project is over budget and the State is deciding on how to proceed.
