Nebo School District is accepting proposals from qualified and licensed Construction Manager / GeneralContractor companies for the construction of a new Spanish Fork High School on the existing site located at 99 North 300 West, Spanish Fork, Utah, 84660 (Project). A more detailed description of the construction Project is contained in the Request for Proposals (RFP). The Project will consist of approximately 360,000 square feet of new building construction on the existing approximate forty (40) acre site located at 99 North 300 West, Spanish Fork, Utah. The new Spanish Fork High School will include all standard high school amenities, including an administration and counseling area; media center; kitchen and lunchroom area; auditorium with drama, choral, and band facilities; a matching gymnasium and auxiliary gymnasium with full team and physical education locker rooms; a weight/fitness room; wrestling room; career and technical education shops and classrooms; etc. The second story will be comprised of standard education classrooms, including science classrooms and labs. This Project will also have mechanical mezzanines to accommodate mechanical, electrical, and data equipment. The site will be fully developed with parking lots, roads, grass, and landscaped areas. The site will also be developed with a football stadium, track, and other athletic facilities and fields. The new Spanish Fork High School will be constructed while the existing high school is occupied and in session. There will be approximately 211,000 square feet of existing building that will be demolished after the new Spanish Fork High School is constructed with some selective demolition needed at the front end of the Project. The estimated cost of the Project is Eighty-Five Million Dollars ($85,000,000). IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT CONSTRUCTION ON THIS PROJECT WILL BEGIN ON OR ABOUT FEBRUARY 4,2022. SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION OF THIS PROJECT SHALL BE NO LATER THAN MAY 1,2024. AND FINAL COMPLETION, INCLUDING ALL PUNCH LIST ITEMS, SHALL BE NO LATER THAN .TUNE 3. 2024. THE SUCCESSFUL CONTRUCTION MANAGER FOR THE PROJECT MUST BE ABLE TO COMPLETE ALL SUBCONTRACTOR BIDS BY DECEMBER 17, 2021 FOR FINAL CONTRACT APPROVAL ON THIS PROJECT BY THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF NEBO SCHOOL DISTRICT ON JANUARY 12, 2022.
