Site work and renovation of a civil project in Fort Mackay, Alberta. Design plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Scope of work consists of lagoon, outfall, and lift station upgrades required for the future growth and development of Fort McKay. The sewage lagoon is located to the northeast of the Fort Mackay community, on a plateau above the Athabasca River and the outfall is in Athabasca river. The existing life station is located along the Athabasca Drive, adjacent to the river. TIMELINE: Preliminary engineering works: geotechnical study, survey & environmental study, deep utility locate & shallow utility locate have been ongoing. Schedules for detailed design, tender and construction are yet to be determined pending owner's capital plans. An update may be available spring 2025 based on funding allocation.
