Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Durant, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

**As of 07/11/2019, the project was not yet awarded yet. The timeline for award is not yet estalished. The estimated Construction cost is in the $10 million dollar range. The City of Durant reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities, also to withhold the acceptance of any bid if approved, for forty-five (45) calendar days from the date the bids are opened. The successful bidder must comply with Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 (12 U.S.C. 170Iu). CDBG regulations governing the grant require that, to the greatest extent feasible opportunities for contracting, subcontracting, training and employment arising in connection with this CDBG project will be extended to Section 3 businesses and Section 3 residents. Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, material and/or supply needs. The City of Durant is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and hereby notifies all bidders will be afforded the full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual preference, marital or veteran status, or any other legally protected status in consideration for an award. The successful bidder must comply with the Davis-Bacon Act which requires that all laborers and mechanics shall be paid at rates not less than those determined by the Department of Labor to be prevailing for the locality in which the project is located. It is NOTED the funding for this Project is from several sources and applies to various segments of specific areas of construction. This requirement will be addressed in SECTION 01 02 70 - APPLICATION FOR PAYMENT. Specifically, the Schedule of Values will be subdivided by the items of Work which applies to the various sources of funding. Requestor: Please provide: Company Name; Contact Person and Telephone; Physical Address; Email Address and Certificate of Responsibility (COR) number. The complete set of documents is available to potential bidders at no charge via a DropBox link. The Architect will respond with instructions to access the DropBox link. Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check or Cashier Check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) ofthe bid shall be furnished by each bidder as required by the Contract Documents, submitted as outlined herein.
