The project will widen intersection to 6 lanes on Lake Hazel Road and 4 lanes on Maple Grove Road in accordance with the 2016 CIP. (IN205--69) As of January 10, 2023, this project is currently in the Ada County Highway District FY23/FY24 Budget. Funding for this project is allotted in the County's capital improvement plan for construction FY 2024. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2024. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available. work shall consist of constructing a multi-lane concrete roundabout and enhanced pedestrian/bike facilities. The work also includes sidewalk, curb, gutter, storm water and irrigation, retaining wall, Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB) signal, intersection illumination, and paving. All work involving irrigation and/or bridge work shall be completed no later than March 15, 2024, unless otherwise approved by the irrigation district. All other work shall be completed in its entirety on or before June 28, 2024. The completion dates are predicated on the intent of ACHD to issue a Notice to Proceed to the Contractor on or about October 2, 2023. ACHD shall be entitled to Liquidated Damages of $2,000 for each calendar day of delay in the completion of the work.
