Brief Description of Work: Work consists of providing; providing and installing; or installing a new greenhouse for Parkside High School Career Technology Education per the complete Bidding Documents Certified Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) are encouraged to respond to this solicitation notice. There is no MBE participation goal for this project. Prevailing Wage Rates are not applicable to this project per the State of Maryland State Finance and Procurement Article, Section 17.201 through 17.226 and CoMAR 21.11.11. Start Date: Upon Award Completion Date: December 31, 2019 Each Bidder shall deposit with his proposal a Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Base Bid. The form of the Bid Bond shall be AIA Document A310 Bid Bond - 1970 edition or equivalent. A Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond, in the full amount of the contract award shall be provided by the successful bidder prior to the execution of the contract. Bond Requirements are for projects greater than $100,000. No Bidder may withdraw their bid within ninety (90) days after the date and time of bid opening. The Board of Education may extend the time and place for the opening of bids by addenda notification on eMM and WCPS' websites. The Board of Education of Wicomico County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive formalities, informalities, and technicalities therein. The Board reserves the right to contact a Bidder for clarifications and may, at its sole discretion, allow a Bidder to correct any and all formalities, informalities and technicalities in the best interest of the Board. The Board reserves the right to utilize existing Board or Cooperative contracts in the best interest of the Board. The Board reserves the right to evaluate existing Board or Cooperative contracts as Bids in the best interest of the Board.
