** Per owner, the project was not awarded. It might go to a re-bid process ** All bid addenda will be transmitted to registered plan holders via email and will be available at portal. Plan holders who have paid for hard copies of the bid documents will need to make the determination if hard copies of the addenda are required for their use, and coordinate directly with Rev. Ventures Inc. for hard copies of addenda to be issued. There will be no charge for registered plan holders to obtain hard copies of the bid addenda. All bid security whether they be bonds or certified checks shall be made in favor without condition to the Chester Fire District, which check or bond may be forfeited should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract with the Owner. The successful bidder shall be required to comply with the provisions of the New York State Prevailing Wage Law. The prevailing wage schedule is attached. Additional information can be obtained at portal. Please note that certified payrolls must be submitted with all invoices. Invoices will not be processed if the certified payroll is not provided. The Contractor must comply with all applicable Federal regulations as described in the bid documents. The Owner accepts no responsibility for any bids prior to their presentation at the date and hour indicated for formal opening. No bids will be accepted after the hour named. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the Chester Fire District, US Government Bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and accepted sureties in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and materialmen's bonds issued by satisfactory sureties. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the specifications, or the latest revision thereof, must be paid on this project. The Contractor must comply with the "Equal Opportunity for Employment" requirements as promulgated by the Federal and State governments and as described in the bid documentation. Bidders may not withdraw their respective bids for a period of thirty (30) days after receipt of same by the Owner. Based on the specifications, the Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to award the contract in a manner deemed in the best interest of the Owner. The deposit will be refunded ONLY to those bidders who submit a bona fide bid proposal in accordance with the terms in the "Information for Bidders" and who return a complete set of Bidding Documents in COMPLETE, UNMARKED, and NOT TORN condition to REVplans within thirty (30) days after the award of contract(s) covered by such Bidding Documents, or the rejection of such bid(s). Non-bidders, including material-men and subcontractors, as well as plan holders who do not submit bid proposals, WILL NOT be eligible for a refund. Complete digital sets of Bid Documents may be obtained electronic for a forty nine ($49.00) non-refundable deposit, in the form of CREDIT CARD.
