Renovation of a detention facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 3,200-square-foot detention facility.

The Work of Project is defined by Contract Documents and consists of approximately 3,200 SF of major interior renovation including new CMU walls, new security metal ceilings, new interior finishes, security hollow metal doors, frames, glazing and hardware. Also includes new electrical, telecommunications, fire alarm, plumbing, fire protection and mechanical systems and renovations. Wake County provides minorities and women equal opportunity to participate in all aspects of its construction program consistent with NCGS 143-8. Bidders shall comply with the requirements of the Wake County Minority Business Enterprise Program, as outlined in Section 00 40 00 of the Project Manual. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
