Renovation of a mixed-use development in Columbia, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility; municipal facility; and water / sewer project.
***As of July 30,2019 project has not been awarded yet. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Metro WTTP Administration and Laboratory Low Slope Roof Replacement The scope consists of the following: 1. Remove and dispose of roof membrane and insulation to the steel deck. 2. Remove and dispose of all existing base flashings. 3. Remove and dispose of existing metal termination bars and counterflashings. 4. Remove and dispose of existing scupper flashings. 5. Remove and dispose of existing metal coping caps and edge metal. 6. Replace any deteriorated or warped wood nailers (unit price). 7. Replace or rehabilitate any deteriorated steel decking. 8. Mechanically fasten one layer or 2" polyisocyanurate insulation and one layer of 1.5" polyisocyanurate insulation. 9. Adhere tapered insulation (where designated) in ribbon applied insulation adhesive. 10.Install .5" gypsum cover board in insulation adhesive. 11.Install fleeceback PVC roof membrane in low rise adhesive. 12.Install new termination bars and counter flashings at all interior wall and curb locations. 13.Install new metal coping caps and edge metal. 14.Install overflow scupper flashings. 15.Install new metal coping caps at parapet wall locations in compliance with ANSI SPRI ES-1. 16.After work is complete, thoroughly clean roof surface of debris and footprints.
