The primary focus will be various projects associated with the Wastewater Treatment facility, which will be undergoing a capacity expansion in addition to the implementation of advanced membrane technology to meet the stringent effluent standards. The type of wastewater treatment facility projects include membrane bioreactor implementation, anaerobic digester upgrades, electrical upgrades, aeration upgrades, flow equalization facilities, and upgrades to inlet works and raw sewage pumping. TIMELINE: The City of Barrie awarded a Request For Quotations from project and program support services as of August, 2019. The consultant was secured to complement the in-house project management team in the delivery of projects related to water, wastewater, transportation and parks and public spaces. Services of project planning and management professionals experienced in the delivery of large and complex infrastructure projects are required. The intent of this RFQ is to select one team consisting of a Senior Project/Programs Planning and Controls Specialist, a Project/Programs Planning Support Professional to assist the Specialist with the day-to-day activities, Senior Risk Management Professional and a Risk Management Support Professional. No construction resulted from this call. Coverage of this report is discontinued.
