Renovation of an educational facility in Los Angeles, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 1,585-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility.

Subject to conditions prescribed by the University of California, Los Angeles, sealed bids for a lump sum contract are invited for the following work: Replacement of two (2) rooftop packaged air conditioning units located on two separate roof areas of Bradley Hall. Contractor shall provide capacity custom air handling units with split Variable Refrigerant Flow (VFR) condensing units, as specified and approved by University's Representative. Electrical work to support the new mechanical equipment shall consist of the provision of new conductors, circuit breakers, disconnect switches, panel boards and, Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFIC) receptacles to support maintenance of the new mechanical system. Additional work includes demolition of existing mechanical base supports, provision of additional steel below the concrete and metal roof deck to support the new air-handling units, partial demolition of existing roof flashing and provision of new flashing and waterproofing around new mechanical base. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. The successful Bidder shall pay all persons providing construction services and/or any labor on site, including any University location, no less than the UC Fair Wage (defined as $13 per hour as of 10/1/15, $14 per hour as of 10/1/16, and $15 per hour as of 10/1/17) and shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local working condition requirements.
