GIS Number: IN205-104 In accordance with the plans and specifications, this work shall consist of reconstruction of the Americans with Disabilities Act pedestrian ramps and Accessible Pedestrian Signals at the Fairview Avenue and Orchard Street intersection. All electronic bidders must first register on the ACHD e-procurement portal. No fee will be incurred to bid electronically. Bidders will have the option to Subscribe to all ACHD solicitations and receive email notifications. Following the Bid Opening, the Bid Results will be available from the ACHD e-Procurement portal. The work shall be completed in its entirety on or before October 25, 2022. The completion dates are predicated on the intent of ACHD to issue a Notice to Proceed to the Contractor on or about July 18, 2022. ACHD shall be entitled to Liquidated Damages of $1,000.00 for each calendar day of delay in the completion of the work. A delay on one portion of the project does not justify delays on other portions of the project. All questions or clarifications concerning this Invitation to Bid (ITB) or the content and requirements of the Solicitation must be posted in the Q&A section of the solicitation at the eProcurement Portal. All questions or clarifications must be submitted by noon on the Monday prior to the Bid Opening. Any interpretation that may alter or change the Solicitation will be in writing, in the form of Addenda, which will be furnished via the eProcurement Portal. It is the Bidder's responsibility to check for Addenda before submitting bids The apparent low-cost responsive Bidder will be required to furnish the necessary additional bond(s) for the faithful performance of the contract and supply the necessary insurance documents as prescribed in the Solicitation. The right is reserved to reject all proposals or reject any proposal not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Solicitation whenever such action appears to be in the best interest of ACHD.
