Reconstruction of Route 132 and the construction of a new structure, in the municipalities of Sainte- Flavie and Grand Métis, La Mitis Regional County Municipality, Matane-Matapédia electoral district, Bas-Saint-Laurent administrative region. TIMELINE: Request for proposals for consulting services to carry out on-site quality control is underway. Information can be followed in the report under ID name: RFP - Redevelopment of Route 132 in Sainte-Flavie and Grand Métis - Quality Control . Construction work on temporary deviation 132 road West (Phase 1) is expected to start in late May, 2025. Phase 2A: construction of projected Perreault road; construction is scheduled to start in July, 2026 till October, 2026. Phase 2B: demolition of the temporary road on chemin Perreault: construction is scheduled to start in October, 2026 till June, 2028. Phase 3: upgrades to the Arthur-Bergeron bridge structure P-04393 over Mitis River (8+820). Tender schedule will be finalized at a later date. Contract for inventory and archeologic monitoring services has been awarded to the consultants. Contract agreement # 6501-23-AD01. Reference # 1837582. Further update winter, 2024/2025.
