The scope of work consists of milling and resurfacing over 1,000 feet of Old Lake Road from Lake Road East (State Route 531) to Park Drive. Additional work items include the removal and replacement of the existing concrete curbs and catch basins, as well as related work. The cost of printing is to be paid to the printing company at the time the drawings are picked up. Shipping and tax charges are the bidders responsibility and payable directly to Becker Impressions. Bidders must be on the official bidders list of PDGs Planroom in order to submit a bid. The Engineer for the Project is Poggemeyer Design Group, Inc., 1168 North Main Street, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. Each bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in an amount of 100% of the bid amount with a surety satisfactory to the aforesaid Village of Geneva-on-the-Lake or by certified check, cashiers check, or letter of credit upon a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the bid amount in favor of the aforesaid Village of Geneva-on-the-Lake. Bid Bonds shall be accompanied by Proof of Authority of the official or agent signing the bond. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the Federal Labor Standards Provisions and Davis-Bacon Wages, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirement for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price. No bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Village of Geneva-on-the-Lake reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
