Cost Estimate: $30,000 - $60,000 Bids will only be accepted from entities on the official Bidders List maintained by the Engineer. All bids submitted shall be sealed, and clearly marked with the Bidders name, address and applicable project. It is the responsibility of the Bidders to familiarize themselves with the project prior to submitting bids. A certified check payable to the order of East Bangor Municipal Authority, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to Ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid, shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to compliance the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rate Act and the Pennsylvania Steel Procurement Act. Bids may be held by the East Bangor Municipal Authority for up to 60 days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract.
