The project involve approximately 33,400 square feet of surface preparation, utility work, and pavement for a Street Sweeping Waste Processing Area in Wenatchee, Washington. Work includes grading, surfacing, paving, sanitary sewer improvements, storm drain and storm drain catch basin installation as well as replacement of barrier gates and other work all in accordance with the plans, specifications and the WSDOT/APWA Standard Specifications. All work performed on the project will be subject to prevailing state wage rates. Time for completion of the work is limited to 30 working days. Each bid proposal shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, postal money order, or surety bond in an amount equal to at least 5 percent of the amount of the bid proposal. Checks shall be made payable to The City of Wenatchee. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance and payment bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Wenatchee. The City of Wenatchee reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in the bid or in the bidding.
