***As of August 13,2019 project has been awarded but award amount information is not yet available. The work consists of: A new playground adjacent to Memorial Park Pool. Playground equipment shall be provided by the Town. The Town of Southington hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation, and that they will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin or sex, in consideration for the award. All bidders are required to inform themselves fully of the conditions relating to the construction and labor under which the work will be or is now being performed and the Contractor shall employ, as far as possible, such methods and means in the carrying out ot this work as will not cause interruption or interference with any other contractor. Bid security in the form of a Surety Company Bond, on form furnished by the Town of Southington for 5% of the amount of the bid, must accompany each proposal. The Town of Southington reserves the rught to reject any and all bids.
