This project is a series of LED lighting upgrades and installations located at the Olmsted Waste to Energy Facility (OWEF) in Rochester, Minnesota. Question Cutoff Date 6/17/2019 03:00 PM (ET) The County reserves the right to make any decisions regarding the RFQ process that provides the best value to the County. The Director of Purchasing shall have the right to reject any or all quotes. Any costs incurred by Bidders responding to this RFQ in anticipation of receiving a contract award will not be reimbursed by Olmsted County. The owef is a waste-fired cogeneration power plant located in rochester minnesota that is owned and operated by olmsted county. The owef provides heating, cooling, electric power, and other utility services to a number of local buildings. The primary fuel for the owef is municipal solid waste (msw), with natural gas and light fuel oil serving as backup fuels. All construction work is to be performed in accordance with applicable local, state and Federal Ordinance, Statutes, Rules, and Regulation and in accordance with the project documents. Bidders shall thoroughly examine construction documents and visit construction site; investigate all conditions pertinent to the project; review government requirements that may affect the work; examine all construction documents related to the project; and include all accessories and labor necessary for completion of work, whether they are specifically mentioned, indicated, or not.
