Description

Site work and paving for a civil project in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a water / sewer project.

The proposed site is located approximately one mile south off Wood Road from its intersection with Interstate Highway 10 (IH-10) Frontage Road in Brookshire, Texas Scope of Project: Site Preparation; Approximately 442,380 CY of Detention Pond and Detention Channel Excavation, including Placement in Spoil Site; Approximately 3,400 LF of 10' Concrete-Lined Pilot Channel in Detention Pond; Approximately 18,560 LF of Backslope Interceptor Swale and 33 Backslope Interceptor Structures with 24" Corrugated Metal Pipe and Concrete Rip Rap; Approximately 15,025 SY of 5" Thick Concrete Slope Pavement; Approximately 895 LF of 4' x 3' Reinforced Concrete Box Culvert and all appurtenances; Approximately 200 LF of 9' x 5' Reinforced Concrete Box Culvert and all appurtenances; A cashiers check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance bond, payment bond and a one-year maintenance bond for the full amount of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
