Site work for a road / highway in Moon Twp, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The base bid upgrade of five (5) traffic signals in locations determined by Moon Township (the Township). The bid includes the removal of existing equipment and installation of new traffic signal equipment including; traffic signal controller and foundation, vehicle detection, pedestrian signal heads, and radio communications. The bid form must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, with an original Power of Attorney, a certified check, or a cashier's check in the amount of ten (10) percent of the bid amount made in favor of Moon Township. Facsimiles will not be accepted and will provide cause for rejection of the bid. No bidder shall withdraw his or her bid for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening. Moon Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to award contracts deemed to be in the best interest of Moon Township. The successful bidder shall furnish a bond guaranteeing performance of the contract in an amount of 100 percent of the contract price within 15 days after the contract is awarded. Moon Township encourages Minority/Women/Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (M/W/D/BE) to respond to this advertisement.
