Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Canal Whchstr, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.
This project involves replacing the existing Lehman Road bridge over Pickering Creek. The new structure will accommodate a three lane section plus paved shoulders and sidewalk on both sides. Lehman Road will be resurfaced and widened to accommodate the new bridge configuration and 4 foot paved shoulders from Gender to the eastern project limit. Sidewalk will be installed along both sides of Lehman Road. Other such work as may be necessary to complete the contract will be performed as set forth in this Invitation For Bid (IFB). A pre-bid meeting will not be held. All questions concerning this project are to be sent to capitalprojects@columbus.gov. The last day to submit questions is January 5, 2021; phone calls will not be accepted. Responses will be posted on Bid Express as an addendum.
