Request for Qualifications: Pre-qualification of Trade Contractors for the Excel Academy Bremen Middle School Project: Trade Contractor Statement of Qualifications are sought from interested Trade Contractors for the following categories of work: Masonry (ECC $250,000); Miscellaneous and Ornamental Iron (EEC $100,000); Waterproofing, Damp-proofing and Caulking (ECC $80,000); Roofing and Flashing (ECC $370,000); Metal Windows (ECC $300,000); Glass & Glazing (ECC $40,000); Resilient Flooring (ECC $100,000); Tile (ECC $25,000); Acoustical Tile (ECC $95,000); Painting (ECC $50,000); Elevators (ECC $130,000); Fire Protection (ECC $120,000); Plumbing (ECC $320,000); HVAC (ECC $650,000); Electrical (ECC $700,000). Contractor Qualification: DCAMM Certificate New, 19,500 SF, 3-story School in E. Boston, 12 month constr. duration. This Request for Qualifications is the first phase of a two-phase procurement process as set forth in M.G.L. c. 149A. The Excel through its Trade Contractor Prequalification Committee is prequalifying firms interested in providing public Trade Contractor services on this Public CMR project through this RFQ process. Excel will evaluate submitted Statements of Qualifications based upon the identified evaluation criteria and points set forth in the RFQ and only those firms obtaining the required minimum points will be deemed prequalified. Only those deemed prequalified will be invited to submit a bid in response to a Request for Bids which will be issued in the second phase of the procurement process. The project delivery method for construction will be public CM at Risk with a Guaranteed Maximum Price under M.G.L. Chapter 149A. The Architect is Studio G. The CM is WT Rich.
