Remodeling and renovation of an educational facility in Fort Worth, Texas. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 24,363-square-foot educational facility.
Project Description: The Awarded CM will be managing this construction project as a Construction Manager at Risk and will coordinate design with the selected firm to provide renovation to the Facilities Maintenance and General Services Buildings for the University of North Texas Health Science Center Campus located in Fort Worth. The Facilities Maintenance Building is 8,042 square feet, and was built in 2003/2004. The General Services Building is 15,826 square feet, and was built in 1990. The layout and use of the two buildings in this project are not conducive to the efficiency and workflow of the operations team. The larger General Services Building currently houses fewer people than the Facilities Maintenance Building, which houses the majority of the operations team. This project will be a phased project in buildings that will be occupied by staff during the renovation.
