Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Tamworth, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; water / sewer project; and for the construction of a bridge / tunnel.

As of April 9 2020 this project has an apparent low bidder. The project consists of total removal of the existing stone/concrete abutments & steel and timber bridge (superstructure and substructure removal), construction of new bridge elements (glulam timber deck, steel stringers, cast-in-place concrete abutment wingwalls and footings with precast option), bridge rail and approach rail, earthwork, drainage, approach roadway work, grading and paving. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. The Engineer's opinion of probable construction cost is between $500,000.00 and $550,000.00. The anticipated project schedule is to start construction on or about May 1, 2020 and complete construction by August 31, 2020. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office. The non-refundable cost of a Compact Disc or printed Bidding Documents is $75.00 per set including shipping via overnight express service. Make checks payable to "DuBois & King, Inc." The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Only Bid Documents obtained from the Issuing Office shall be used for submitting a Bid. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Prequalification: All Bidders (Prime Contractor or Contractor/Subcontractors Teams) must be listed by the New Hampshire Department of Transportation as prequalified for Bridge/Site/Road Construction.
