For the furnishing of all labor and materials and all else necessary for: LAKE WACONIA REGIONAL PARK SITE IMPROVEMENTS WSB Project No. R-011103-000 Potential Bid Items include, but are not limited to Restroom building and picnic shelter demolition, tree removals, site clearing and grubbing, import granular borrow and common borrow, import engineered fill, concrete curb and gutter, bituminous parking lot pavement, bituminous trail pavement, concrete pads and walks, concrete boat ramp planks, retaining wall, electrical service and light poles, stormwater utilities, restoration, and erosion control related to the development of a DNR boat launch and parking lot, and the Lake Waconia Regional Park parking lot and entrance drive with extensive earthwork across both sites. The provisions of Minn. Stat. 16C.285 Responsible Contractor are imposed as a requirement of this contract. All bidders and persons or companies providing a response/submission to the Advertisement for Bids of the County shall comply with the provisions of the statute. Please make your check payable to WSB. Plans and Specifications, so purchased, become the property of the purchaser, and no portion of the purchase price will be refunded. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bidders bond naming Carver County as oblige, certified check payable to the Carver County Treasurer or a cash deposit equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, which shall be forfeited to the County in the event that the bidder fails to enter into a contract. The County reserves the right to retain the deposits of the three lowest bidders for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days after the date and time set of the opening of bids. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date and time set of the opening of bids. The Carver County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and further reserves the right to award the contract in the best interests of the County.
