Cost Estimate: $325k-$400k Bid Number SB01782, Furnish all labor and materials including performance of all work for the Bollinger Memorial Student Union Interior Renovation Phase I at Nicholls State University, Thibodaux, LA. The Project consists of the removal of interior finishes and exposed miscellaneous steel arbors, adjustment to mechanical and electrical components such as ductwork and registers, grilles, and wall plates and switches to allow the removal and replacement of the indicated components, New Floor, wall, and ceiling finishes shall be provided as part of this work as indicated in the Contract Documents. Bids shall be accepted from Contractors who are licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192 for the classification of Building Construction. Bidder is required to comply with provisions and requirements of LA R.S. 38:2212(B)(5). No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after receipt of bids, except under the provisions of LA. R.S. 38:2214. No bids will be received after the date and hour specified. The University reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. In accordance with La. R.S. 38:2212(B)(1), the provisions and requirements of this Section and those stated in the bidding documents shall not be waived by any entity. All bids shall be accompanied by bid security in an amount of five percent (5.0%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates. The form of this security shall be as stated in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bid Documents for this project. Performance and Payment Bonds required.
