Site work for a civil project in Lee, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and bridge / tunnel.
The scope of work for this project shall consist of the repair or replacement of existing culverts and drainage structures along Interstate 90 in District 1 in Massachusetts. The overall limits of work begin at mile marker 0.0 and continue to mile marker 30.0. See Sketch 1 for limits of work. All work shall be performed within the limits of the existing State, City, or Town layout lines. No rights to enter on, or occupy, private property have been acquired by this project. Control of erosion and sediment within the work limits. Excavation of existing embankment soils, sub base materials, and/or existing rip rap. Clearing and grubbing and/or removal oftrees at the direction ofthe Engineer. Remove existing guardrail and posts and replace with MASH compliant TL-3 guardrail and posts. Dewatering as required. Removal of existing damaged or misaligned pipes and/or headwalls. Installation of new pipes and/or headwalls. Installation of gravel borrow subbase and backfill of embankments with ordinary borrow. Installation of gravel borrow at spillway subbase as needed. Installation of modified rockfill splash pads at spillway. Loam and seed at embankments at all disturbed areas within work limits. Placement of traffic control setups, including signage, cones, barrels, attenuators, etc. per MassDOT traffic standards. Location: District 1 Drainage, Highway - Construction MassDOT - Culvert and Drainage Repairs and Improvements at Various Locations along Interstate 90
