Information for Bidders: This Contract provides for the improvement of a portion of the Port of Benton Track between the Yakima River Bridge and the Duportail Street Crossing including: Replacement of structural bridge deck ties (396 each) and spacer timber (using Agency supplied ties and spacer timbers), Replacing cross ties (up to approximately 1,000 each), Replacing cross ties on ballast deck bridge (333 each), Reconstruction of two grade crossings (Jadwin Ave and Trail) and related work, Ballasting and track surfacing (SLD), Alternates for replacement of rail on two bridges and other track work, And other minor or related base and alternate track work items. The project shall be completed by within 64 working days based on award of all alternates. This project is a Washington State Department of Transportation funded project and as such Washington State prevailing wage Law applies. Port of Benton is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
