Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 149, Sections 44A to 44H, inclusive, of Massachusetts General Laws Town of Scituate (TS) hereinafter called the Owner and Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from responsible and eligible bidders for the renovation and additions to the Widows Walk golf Courses club house, located at 250 Driftway, Scituate Massachusetts, in accordance with the Contract Documents issued on December 4th, 2020 as prepared by S3 Design, Inc., 150 Wood Rd. Suite 1000, Braintree, MA 02184. This project is a REBID due to original bids exceeding the construction value of $1,250,000, and will include several sub-trades that are acceptable from the original bid and are carrying over. REBID documents are designated as Addendum #10, and incorporate the nine addendums from the original bid documents. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the following category of work -- General Building Construction and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Prime Update Statement (Form CQ 3). A Performance and Payment Bond satisfactory in form to the Awarding Authority in the amount of 100% of the contract and from a surety authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts will be required of the successful bidder as part of contract award. All bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 - 27D inclusive and Section 44A - 44J inclusive. Attention is directed to the prevailing wage rates to be paid on the work as determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Workforce Development. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid for a period of sixty (60) days (Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays excluded) after the actual date of the opening of the General Bids.
