Saving Project...

Renovation of a fire / police facility in Kingston, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

The Corporation of the City of Kingston (the "City") Facilities Management and Construction Services invites proposals from qualified proponents interested in providing construction services for the renovation of the maintenance bay at the Woodbine Fire Station #7, located at 905 Woodbine Road, Kingston, ON., to be converted to a paramedic station. The area of the current garage bay is 192 m2. The remaining bays are part of the fire station which is to remain open and active during construction. The Frontenac County Paramedics require the space to be operational by the end of 2019. The renovation of this space will require demolition of the existing interior walls and existing features, construction of a new living space and garage bay to meet the paramedic's needs. The existing shell will be modified with a new vestibule and several new doors and windows and sealing existing doors and windows. This space will be a separate tenant space and requires fire separations between this bay and the fire station bays. The requirements for the responses to this Request for Proposal (RFP) are described in this document. Proposals must meet all the requirements as outlined. The City, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to refuse any proposal and to re-issue this RFP. QA End date is June 24, 2019
