THE CONSTRUCTION OF RANSON ROSDEALE PARK FOR HUNTERSVILLE PARKS AND RECREATION This Project includes, but is not limited to the construction of a dog park with large dog and small dog areas, accessible play area, natural play area, restroom, lawn, fitness stations, two parking lots, concrete sidewalk and gravel trail system with associated grading, stormwater infrastructure, utilities, erosion control, and plantings. The Contract Drawings for this Project were provided to the Town by The Dodd Studio, LLC. If awarded, the Project will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder, taking into account quality, performance and time specified in the Contract Documents. The lowest, responsive, responsible bid will be determined based upon the lowest cost to the Town. Each Bid Proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope, to indicate its contents without being opened. The name of the Bidder, his address and his license number must be marked on the outside of the envelope. This envelope shall be placed in another one addressed to the attention of Michael Jaycocks, Town of Huntersville Recreation Department, 105 Gilead Road, P.O. Box 2879, Huntersville, North Carolina, 28070 Bidder shall be charged with liquidated damages at a rate of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per calendar day until the total Project is successfully completed. The Contractor will have 210 consecutive calendar days to complete the Work from the date of Contractor's receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The Firm shall provide and maintain, until final acceptance, workmen's compensation insurance, as required by law, as well as employer's liability coverage with minimum limits of $100,000. The Town reserves the right to waive any informalities in the Bid Proposal and to reject any or all Bid Proposals.
