Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Syracuse, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a 3,800-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

**As of September 11, 2019, the project has not been awarded. A timeline for the award is not yet established.** The project consists of a 3,800 sf renovation on the First Level of an existing hospital facility along with associated work on the floor below and in adjacent areas. The project includes: renovation of the clinical program (Type "B" occupancy) to the north infill building (adjacent to the chiller plant), and the renovation of the office program (Type "I2" occupancy) to a nearby portion of the original building. Scope of work includes but is not limited to: demolition of existing areas, general construction, and upgrades to mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems, along with replacement of the glass and glazing in the exterior windows of the clinic area. There is no other exterior work as part of this project. Effective 1/1/06, in accordance with State Finance Law Section 139-j, all questions pertaining to the solicitation shall be made formally to the designated contact in Contracts & Campus Purchasing: Mr. Daniel Arnold & Mrs. Shawna Frigon SUNY - Upstate Medical University, 750 East Adams Street, Syracuse, New York 13210, Phone: (315) 464-5874 (315) 464-4595 Fax: (315) 464-4679. Contact made to other staff regarding this procurement may disqualify the firm and affect future procurements with government entities in the State of New York. Please refer to the OGS' Bids must be submitted as three (3) complete packages, which must have original signatures on the forms provided by the University, in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The selected contractor must comply with M/WBE goals. State University of New York goals are: 13% MBE and 20% WBE participation of the total contract value. State University of New York also has a goal for the Work Force participation: EEO 10% WBE and EEO 10% MBE of total work force on the project. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 13% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 20% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6%
