Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a water / sewer project in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The City reserves the right to waive any informality in the bidding and to reject any or all proposals. The Project includes the addition of a 4,400 GPM submersible pump, a 400 kW generator and ATS, and related improvements. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bidding Documents. Bidders are hereby notified that they must be properly licensed as required by Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents with an appointment at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding Documents also may be examined at the following locations: 1. Office of the City/County Purchasing Department, Room 324, City Hall Building, 101 North Main Street, Winston-Salem, North Carolina 27101, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. 2. ConstructConnect, 3825 Edwards Rd #800, Cincinnati, OH, (800) 364-2059. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained by registering with the Issuing Office, during the hours indicated above. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Drawings or Specifications will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer has any responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or sufficiency of any Bidding Documents obtained from any source other than the Issuing Office. Obtaining these documents from any source other than the Issuing Office may result in obtaining incomplete and inaccurate information. Obtaining these documents from any source other than the Issuing Office may also result in failure to receive any addenda, corrections, or other revisions to the Bidding Documents that may be issued. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Compliance with the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) Special Conditions is required on this Contract. SRF requirements are included in the Bidding Documents. Compliance with the City/County Utility Commissions Minority and Women Business Enterprises (MBE/WBE) program is required on this Contract. MBE/WBE program requirements are included in the Bidding Documents. The City reserves the right to reject all bids or any portion of any bid they deem necessary for the best interest of the City, to accept any item or group of items unless qualified by the bidder, to acquire additional quantities at prices quoted on the Bid Form.
