**As of August 15, 2019, the project has been awarded for $3,192,661.25.** For Single - Family Manufactured Housing Unit (MHU) Replacement The Division of Commerce is hereby requesting written solicitations from construction contractors with the qualifications and experience for the provision of manufactured housing unit (MHU) replacement services to address the flood and storm related damages to qualified single-family MHUs owned by low to moderate income homeowners or rental properties which will serve low to moderate income tenants. The MHUs to be replaced are primarily located within the following counties: (Kanawha, Greenbrier, Lincoln, Clay, Fayette, and Webster) The construction contractor will be responsible for all aspects of ACM inspections and abatement, demolition, disposal, scheduling and replacement. The contractor will be required to conform to all applicable state and local codes and requirements. The MHU replacement services will include replacement of2 bedroom / 1 bathroom, 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom, and 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom single-wide units. All work associated with this Request must be completed by December 31st, 2019. Once a contractor commences work, the contractor is expected to complete all tasks. Items may include, but are not limited to the following items, which the construction contractor will be responsible for at least the following: o Obtain all required permits o Schedule the replacement activities with the applicant o Disconnect all utilities o Conduct ACM inspections and abatement o Demolition of existing structure/structures o Disposal of existing structure/structures o Pad/Pier/Foundation preparation o Property site mitigation and preparation o Installation/Completion of the new MHU (Includes Accessibility changes if required) o Connection of all utilities o Installation of all electrical, plumbing, septic systems, wells, and HVAC components and fixtures o Purchase and installation of the following Energy Star Rated appliances: (Refrigerator, Stove, Dishwasher, Windows, Hot Water Heater, Heat Pump, Lighting) o Scheduling and completion of all required inspections o Obtain a Certificate of Occupancy A detailed bid for a 2 bedroom / 1 bathroom, 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom, and 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom single-wide MHU is required (includes Accessibility changes if required).
