Demolition, site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

A general contractor has been identified and all sub trades are secured. Construction will begin in early February 2020. Broken Arrow Municipal Authority (BAMA) in concert with the Oklahoma Water Resources Board (OWRB) Clean Water State Revolving Loan Fund (CWSRF) is accepting Bids on the following Work: Lynn Lane Wastewater Treatment Plant Secondary Clarifier Rehabilitation: Work includes rehabilitation of existing secondary clarifier including removal and replacement of all internal mechanisms and scum pit modifications; Return activated sludge (RAS) pump room modifications including the removal and replacement of three (3) RAS pumps with new electrical and controls, demolition and modifications of existing piping and supports, new building air handling and ventilation system and installation of new RAS line yard piping; New non-potable water (NPW) pump station building with new electrical and mechanical components and new NPW distribution system within the plant and miscellaneous site work and grading. Contract No: 165422 OWRB Project No. ORF-17-0005-CW In addition, Plans are available by paying with a credit card either by phone or in person. If obtaining Plans by phone, please have your credit card number and shipping account number available. Plan holders list may be obtained by calling Engineering and Construction Department. (918) 259-7000, ext. 5414. Sworn statement of the Bidder's assets and liabilities, technical qualifications and performance in the form of the latest annual report and financial statement are not required to be submitted with the Bidder's Proposal, but BAMA may require such statements prior to award of the construction contract. A Bidder Surety Bond or a cashiers or properly certified check upon a bank or trust company must accompany each Proposal for an amount equal to approximately five percent (5%) of the total Bid made payable, without reserve, to the Broken Arrow Municipal Authority. The successful Bidder must, within ten (10) days after receiving notice of award and before or at the time of entering into Contract, furnish a Performance Bond, Statutory Bond and Maintenance Bond in the forms prescribed by BAMA in the amounts equal to the Contract price. All Bids must include assurances that the following provisions will be complied with: 1. Equal Opportunity provisions - Executive Order 11246, as amended, which assures non-discrimination; Equal Opportunity in Employment: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, or handicap. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246, as amended. The requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the specifications. 2. Each bidder must fully comply with the requirements, terms and conditions of the Oklahoma Water Resources Board (OWRB), Small, Minority, Womens Businesses Requirements including affirmative steps to contract with small, minority and women's businesses during the performance of this contract. The bidder commits itself to the affirmative steps to contract with small, minority and women's businesses contained herein and all other requirements, terms and conditions of these bid conditions by submitting a properly signed bid. Requirements are contained in Oklahoma Water Resources Board Guidance and Procedures, ORF-267 (Revised 07/09). 3. Davis Bacon Act wage rules shall apply. For more information please refer to Oklahoma Water Resources Board Supplemental Conditions ORF-185. 5. System for Award Management (SAM) registration is required for all SRF programs (CWSRF and DWSRF) applicants and Awardees (Entities, Prime Contractors, Subcontractors, Vendors) in order to be awarded contracts by the SRF Programs. New Applicants and Awardees can go to SAM.gov to complete the registration process. The Broken Arrow Municipal Authority reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to accept the Bid that is the most advantageous to BAMA. The acceptance and award of this Bid will be considered by the Broken Arrow Municipal Authority. Project will be awarded to the responsible Bidder with the lowest combined base and additive alternate bids. The lowest responsible Bidder will be notified within ten (10) working days of the Bid opening as to when this Public Construction Contract will be placed on the BAMA Agenda for consideration.
