The City of Elk Grove (City) is accepting proposals from qualified Consultants (Consultant(s)) for Professional Engineering and Environmental Consulting Services (preliminary engineering, environmental documentation, and the preparation of final plans, specifications, and estimates package) for the Laguna Creek Inter-Regional Trail Crossing at State Route 99 Project, City Project # WTL016, Federal Project #:CML-5479(072) (Project). The selected Consultant shall provide professional engineering and environmental services necessary for the preparation of plans, technical specifications and estimate, including bid and award phase services, and design support during the construction phase, in accordance with the included specifications, terms, and conditions shown in this Request for Proposal (RFP). Prospective respondents are advised to read this information over carefully prior to submitting a proposal. This Project received Federal funds from the Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) Program and the Active Transportation Program (ATP) and as such, this Project must comply with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Caltrans requirements for federally funded projects pursuant to the latest Local Assistance Procedures Manual, and Capital Outlay Program Guidelines. The successful Consultant will enter into a consultant contract with the City of Elk Grove. Addendum shall be acknowledged, signed and submitted with the proposal. Any proposal may be withdrawn or modified by a written request signed by the Consultant and received by the City Clerk prior to the final time and date for the receipt of proposals. Once the deadline is past, Consultants are obligated to fulfill the terms of their proposal.
