Provide all labor, materials, and equipment for locker room modifications per the bid plans and specifications. This contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder. A District allowance of $10,000 must be added to your bid amount. Project Duration: 60 consecutive calendar days, according to the phasing schedule included in the Supplemental Conditions. At the time bids are submitted, each bidder shall possess a valid class B contractors license and must maintain the license(s) throughout the duration of the project The successful Bidder may substitute securities for any monies withheld by the District to ensure performance under the Contract, in accordance with the provisions of section 22300 of the Public Contract Code. The successful Bidder and its subcontractors shall pay all workers on the Project not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations, State of California, for the type of work performed and the locality in which the work is to be performed within the boundaries of the District, pursuant to sections 1770 et seq. of the California Labor Code. Prevailing wage rates are available from the District . Bidders and Bidders subcontractors shall comply with the registration and qualification requirements pursuant to sections 1725.5 and 1771.1 of the California Labor Code. All questions are to be submitted through Planet Bids only and will be due on June 21, 2019 at 12:00 pm. Any RFI submitted in any other format or in any other method shall go unanswered. Bids shall be on the form provided by the District and each bid must conform and be responsive to the Contract Documents as defined in the General Conditions. Any bid submitted after this time shall be non-responsive and returned to bidder. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding.
