Phase 2 project is located in Mt. Dora and consists of installing storm pipe and structures along a dedicated drainage easement that lies on the North and South sides of Lakeshore Drive (County Road No. 3460). Other work associated with this project shall include: pavement repair, grading swales, concrete ditch pavement, structure removal, dewatering, sodding, and other miscellaneous incidental construction. The Engineers estimate is $143,430. Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope clearly marked "SEALED BID FOR PROCUREMENT SERVICES: Lake Saunders Outfall Phase 2; Project No. 2019-05; Bid No. 19-0930. The bidder shall place on the outside of the proposal envelope the name of the firm submitting the proposal. Bids may be withdrawn prior to the date of opening, but no bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of opening of bids. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive formalities, and to award the contract in the best interest of Lake County, Florida. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee acceptable to the County Attorney, which shall be one of the following; bid bond or letter of credit, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the base bid and made payable to Lake County. Said bid bond or letter of credit shall be a guarantee that should the bid be accepted, the bid- der will, within ten (10) days after written notice of the award of the contract, enter into a contract with Lake County for the services pro- posed to be performed and will at that time furnish an acceptable contract surety.
