For Maleng Regional Justice Center (MRJC) HVAC Repairs Replacement of existing dampers within all cell areas, showers and day-rooms in each of seven (7) housing Pods, louvers and grilles, access doors in ductwork, and Direct Digital Controls (DDC) and improved sequence of operations. Alternate bid items include (1) Kitchen Make Up Air Unit Demolition including TAB; (2) Electrical Room N017 Cooling including TAB; (3) Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) for the seven Pods; (4) dampers from the cell side where access from the chase is not possible; (5) replacement wiring; (6) Mobilization and Demobilization when a subsequent Pod is not available to continue work. All persons attending the Pre-Bid & Site Tour must submit and pass a criminal background check prior to the tour. Any person who is denied access by the king county department of adult and juvenile detention will not be allowed to attend.
