All questions regarding this RFQ are to be directed to the Procurement Analyst named above. Quoters may not communicate with County employees or representatives about the RFQ during the procurement process until the Procurement office has notified Quoters of the selected Quoter. Communication in violation of this restriction may result in rejection of a Quoter. The purpose of this RFQ is to provide all necessary materials, labor and permits to refurbish three (3) water slides at the North Clackamas Aquatic Park. Location: 7300 SE Harmony Rd, Milwaukie, Oregon 97222. Gel coat prep and repair of the slide contact surfaces on the inside of the two (2) enclosed slides and one (1) open slide. o Paint prep and painting of the outside of the two (2) enclosed slides and 1 open slide. o On painted surfaces only: Prep, power wash interior/exterior of Fuchsia Slides and Yellow Slide and Red slide using eco-friendly detergent. o On painted surfaces only: Paint exterior of Fuchsia Slide and Yellow Slide and Red Slide with Epoxy/Urethane Hybrid Marine Paint. o On gel coated surfaces only: Sand entire gel coated surface to a 1 mil profile. Chemical contaminants and old gel coat must be removed prior to new coating being applied. o On gel coated surfaces only: Repair minor cracks, chips and damage along the ride path only of the water slide. Prep to feather ridges and scratches to ensure new gel coat is free of ridges and scratches. o On gel coated surfaces only: Remove existing caulking so new gel coating adheres to fiberglass only and not loose flakes of old caulking. Grind open tight seams to allow for caulking. o On gel coated surfaces only: Apply twenty (20) plus mils of gel coat to interior riding surfaces water slides. Ensure a smooth surface free of ridges and scratches. o On gel coated surfaces only: Caulk all seams on two (2) Enclosed Body Slides and one (1) Open Body Slide using Sikaflex 1A. Caulking in white. Ensure a water tight seal. o Contractor will be responsible to control sanding debris and dust as to minimize affected areas. Contractor will be responsible to clean sanding residue from affected areas. o NCPRD is Requesting a minimum of one (1) year warranty against chipping or flaking on interior and exterior coatings, including materials and labor Control Number: 2063799
