The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor and incidentals as required in the specifications and contract documents, for the following project Culver Boulevard Filtration and Retention Project PR-002 Culver Boulevard Realignment Project PZ-460 All work to be done under this contract shall be completed within Five hundred and forty (540) calendar days, beginning on the date the Contractor actually commences the Work or on the tenth (10th) day after the issuance of the "Notice to Proceed" by the City Engineer, whichever comes first. Each Bidder shall submit a form of Bid Guaranty such as a money order, a cashier's check, certified check, cash, or surety bond for the sum of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid and made payable to the City of Culver City as a guaranty that the Bidder, if its bid is accepted, will enter into a satisfactory contract and furnish a bond for the faithful performance thereof, and for the payment of labor and materials costs, and insurance in accordance with the requirements of the contract documents. Owner has determined that the Contractor shall possess a valid Class "A" License at the time that the bid is submitted.
