Estimated project value: 1,000,000-2,000,000 The construction effort can be generally described as the rehabilitation of Taxiways 'A' and 'B'. The project will be bid as two Bid Alternates as described below. Either Bid Alternate may be awarded, but not both. Bid Alternate No. 1 consists of variable depth milling of the existing asphalt pavement followed by an overlay with 5-inch Portland cement concrete (PCC) pavement (FAA P-501), placement of an asphalt overlay (SCDOT Type B) on the existing asphalt shoulder pavement, and pavement markings. Bid Alternate No. 2 consists of nominal 3-inch depth milling of the existing asphalt pavement followed by placement of a double surface treatment followed by a nominal 3-inch asphalt overlay (FAA P-401) and pavement markings. Contract time will be 60 days for an award of Bid Alternate 1 or 45 days for an award of Bid Alternate 2 from the date of Notice-to-Proceed and within the prescribed phasing in Section 01010 of the Project Manual.
