The purpose of this contract is to provide professional engineering and related services to King County Department of Local Services, Road Services Division (County) for the drainage structure replacement project with fish passage features on 180th Avenue SE at SE 408th Street. The roadways that intersect at 180th Avenue SE and SE 408th Street primarily serve the Enumclaw Plateau farming community and are located northwest of the City of Enumclaw. These roadways are classified as rural local roads and are 30-feet wide including 4-foot gravel shoulders. This intersection is approximately 0.6 miles north of the intersection with the AuburnEnumclaw Road SE (SR 164) along 180th Avenue SE and 0.2 miles east of SR 164 along SE 408th Street. The Average Daily Traffic (ADT) on these roads are considered low volume, which is defined as approximately 500 vehicles per day, or less.
