The Project consists of additions and renovations of the exiting high school building including a combination of Omaha Public Schools Bond work and privately funded work The following is a general description of the Omaha Public Schools Bond Work. a. HVAC system replacement and associated electrical modifications. b. Remove existing ballasted roof areas. Install new insulation, cover board, and EPDM roof membrane with associated flashings and trims. c. Countertop installation at cafeteria area. Add - Alternate Bid No. 1: Description: Remove existing domestic water heaters and tanks. Install new high efficiency gas water heaters. Reconnect new cold water, hot water and hot water B. Add - Alternate Bid No. 2: Description: Replace existing house lights with new LED lighting, provide new theatrical lighting console, provide new emergency lighting control system, provide emergency power for life-safety lighting, provide new programming for existing lighting control, provide additional accessories for existing lighting control system to control new LED lighting.
