Expansion of the Port facilities. The proposed expansion is intended to increase vessel docking capacity by extending one of the existing wharves, adding a berth, and installing a ro-ro ramp. TIMELINE: Following the Quebec government decision to exclude the customs' services for clearance of container-carrying ships at this location, the project was put on hold since more than three years. Future of the project is not determined. The project will be followed if/when it proceeds to a tendering stage. Coverage of this report has been discontinued.
